At North Platte Physical Therapy, you'll find experienced mentors who want to meet your needs as you grow professionally. Our clinic uses a team-based approach, with occupational and physical therapy often collaborating to provide the best possible care. We are predominantly an outpatient orthopedic practice servicing several different sized communities throughout the state. A high percentage of our clinicians are board certified specialists in orthopedics, providing plenty of mentors and support if that is an avenue you would like to pursue. With clinics in rural settings, there are also opportunities for significant skill development in multiple areas, including inpatient, outpatient, neuro, SNF, and pediatrics to allow you to really find your niche without losing skills in any other area.

Our goal is to bring cutting-edge treatment and state-of-the-art care to rural Wyoming while taking care of our employees for the long-haul. That is why we take great pride in providing excellent continuing education and professional development programs alongside a retirement program that is second to none in the United States. We have openings now in our clinics in Cheyenne, Powell, Gillette, and Douglas, Wyoming. For road safety and community involvement, we require our employees to live in the communities they serve. We are generally able to assist in finding affordable housing when relocating to these towns.

Compensation and Benefits:

Competitive base salary

Rehabilitation Technician


Do you want to make a difference in the lives of people in your community who may be recovering from injury or illness? If you are a strong multitasker and solid communicator who wants to do meaningful work, we are looking for you!

Rehab Technicians work under the direct supervision of a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant. Techs often maintain the treatment area and assist in exercises with patients. They often do tasks that are indirectly related to patient care such as cleaning and setting up the treatment area, transferring patients, and performing clerical duties. Aides are also responsible for observing patients before, during, and after therapy, noting their status and reporting to a Physical Therapist. They may help patients do specific exercises as part of the plan of care, use a variety of techniques to treat patients, and use devices and equipment to help patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the movement, support, lifting and transport of patients before, during and after therapy.
  • Assists clinical staff with preparing patients for therapy and with providing therapy.
  • Maintain treatment area in a clean, safe and organized condition.
  • Clean and maintains therapy equipment and supplies.
  • Perform assigned clerical tasks, including stocking supplies, filing, scheduling, and answering phones.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to multitask in a face paced environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • We will provide training for motivated new grads and entry level
