Helping You Return to Work, Sports, and Daily Life

Physical therapy is designed to help people move better, feel stronger, and return to the activities that matter most in their daily lives. North Platte Physical Therapy’s licensed clinicians work with patients of all ages and abilities to treat injuries, manage pain, and restore mobility through personalized treatment plans.  Treatment often includes guided exercise, hands-on therapy techniques, and education that empowers you to stay active and prevent future injury. Our goal is not only to relieve symptoms but to address the root cause of movement limitations so you can return to work, sports, and everyday activities safely.

What Does Physical Therapy Treat?

NPPT helps patients improve mobility, reduce pain, and recover from a wide range of conditions affecting muscles, joints, and nerves. Our therapists commonly treat back and neck pain, sports injuries, joint pain, balance disorders, and recovery after surgery.

Physical therapy can also play an important role in managing neurological conditions, chronic pain, and mobility challenges related to aging. No matter the cause, our goal is to help you move more comfortably and return to the activities that are important to your daily life.

Your first visit begins with a comprehensive evaluation. Our therapist will review your medical history, assess how your body moves, and identify areas of weakness, stiffness, or limited mobility.

From there, we develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to your condition and recovery goals. Treatment may include guided exercise, hands-on therapy techniques, mobility training, and education to help you continue improving between visits.

Depending on state guidelines and your insurance plan, you may be able to begin physical therapy without a physician referral. Our team can help verify your insurance requirements and determine whether a referral is needed before starting treatment.

If a referral is required, we work closely with your physician to ensure a smooth and coordinated start to your care.

The length of physical therapy varies based on your condition, goals, and progress. Some patients see improvement after just a few visits, while others benefit from several weeks of structured therapy.

NPPT focuses on measurable progress and individualized care. Your therapist will monitor your improvement and adjust your treatment plan as your strength, mobility, and overall function continue to improve.
