Emily Yorges, DPT, LAT, ATC, SFMA

Emily Yorges, physical therapist at North Platte Physical Therapy.

I have been passionate about athletic training since high school and always knew it was the career path I wanted to pursue. Being able to work in the clinic as well as with student-athletes at school gives me the unique opportunity to evaluate injuries firsthand and guide athletes through sport- specific rehabilitation programs to help them safely return to play. To further expand my knowledge and provide the highest level of care, I recently returned to school and earned my Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT). This has strengthened my ability to evaluate, treat, and rehabilitate a wide range of injuries using evidence-based, individualized care. There’s nothing I love more about my job than seeing an athlete come back after an injury and helping them return to their sport with confidence and the strength to play at the level they were at before their injury.
