Before beginning my journey as a Physical Therapist Assistant, my older sister was in an accident that resulted in the loss of her left leg below the knee. Since our parents were working, I accompanied her to physical therapy sessions as she learned to walk again. Watching her progress-and seeing all she’s accomplished since-deeply inspired me to pursue a career in physical therapy.
That experience continues to drive my passion for helping others regain function and independence. I find great joy in watching my patients reach their goals and in those special moments when they approach me outside the clinic to say thank you for being part of their recovery journey.
